Good Points
Well-built and easy to play with good tonal range from the two pickups.
Bad Points
Some hum from the single coil pickups.
General Comments
Fender Jazz Bass (Mexican) - Buying this guitar was the result of a trip into my local music superstore to buy a bass for my Gothic daughter who was looking for a black (of course) five string bass. Whilst she was trying her new toy I spotted a blue Jazz Bass on display and had to try it. It was instant love so easy to play, great range of tones available from the two pickups and of excellent build quality. Its only downfall being the slight hum from the pickups when the tone control is set to full treble, but then that's pretty normal for a single coil pickup guitar.

I have the fretless version and I love it. It sounds great and plays very well. I have no problem with noise though. My only beef is the output from the pickups isn't to great.
