Good Points

* Dedicated RAM for video card
* 1024MB (1GB) Max. system memory
* DVD-RW Drive
* Extra expansion bay
* Built in Sub Woofer
* 1600x1200 Native Screen resolution
* Harman/Kardon Speakers.
* Remote control


Bad Points

* Only 64MB of Ram for video adapter
* Lack of ventilation in laptop
* Heats up quickly
* Bluetooth drivers and Ram drivers don't work
* 60GB Hard Drive
* 2hr-3hr Battery Life


General Comments

I've had the Toshiba Satellite 5200-701 notebook for over a year now and I am very VERY pleased with it! With the 1GB memory upgrade, and its P4m 2.20GHz CPU makes it a fast machine! With its DVD-RW Burner it allows me to burn DVD backups and what not. And with its extra bay, I can easily add a 2nd Hard Drive, a 2nd Battery, or a 2nd Optical drive! I'm a heavy gamer and this laptop does a great job when I take it to a LAN party! However, its poor ventilation causes the laptop to heat up a lot when under heavy tasks (compiling programs, playing games, compiling movies). And the fact that it only has 64MB of dedicated memory makes it difficult to play games at a higher resolution or with higher graphics options! But overall, this is a great laptop!
