Greyhounds, excellent for kids, need open space, love and food.
Everybody loves a greyhound, they've such "nice lines".
If he doesn't get attention, becomes very vocal, wrecks his bed (a cot mattress and duvet), or empties the swing bin. Was a bit too dominant at the latter stages of adolescence (3 yrs). Badly scarred on his RH side at 2 yrs. Missed his footing and hit a tree side on, it was a really horrific injury, almost like a skinned rabbit. No physiological or physiological damage. The care he had was excellent. "Dick White Referrals" Will not chase a rabbit.
Jimmy (bonny boy) an all "shiny black" greyhound now three and a half. Thoroughbred pet. A real head-turner in the high street. Loves to lean on anybody that shows the slightest bit of attention. Loves kids. Loves soft going, really takes off. Burns sugar quickly, so likes a rest in between sprints. Normally twenty minutes.
Sociable with other dogs, especially Oscar the English mastive who he likes to bully!! bone idle, loves a cuddle on the settee, faithful, Very obedient. Will chase a hare. Dislikes cats. Very cheeky!
