Good Points

Handsome looking, old, fairly accurate, metal constuction with wooden handle.

Bad Points

Can be hard to cock, inaccurate over longer ranges (this may be due to dodgy pellets, though).

General Comments

I obtained this Webley Junior from my grandfather as I had begun to show an interest in shooting. It is probably about 60 years old but is still in great working order.
I have found that it is best used for target shooting at a fairly close range for, because it is so old the accuracy is not the best ever. I have been using old pellets, however, so it may be due to dented or damaged ammunition. The gun is powerful enough for general target shooting but I have not used it for any other purpose so I cannot tell you about its other capabilities.
the only problem that I have ever experienced is the trigger pin falling out while the gun was cocked and loaded! this was probably unfortunate and due to its age. The cocking mechanism can be stiff at times but otherwise it is a good target gun.

This is a first class review. It is concise yet informative and I think you are lucky to have such a wonderful G.dad. Gower.

how much would you expect to pay for a gun like this?

I'm not entirely sure as it was originally obtained many years ago and the price will probably be very different than it was on first purchase.
