Good Points

Small, Light and easy to use

Bad Points

Zoom pictures at night time tend to be Blury
Limited memory, although Can be upgraded
If flash used, battery will not last for long, although its proportional to the size of the camera.


General Comments

The Canon Ixus 500 is an excellent piece of Kit. Family needed our first Digital camera. During a stop over at Dubai Duty free, My dad purchased one of these beauties for about 200 quid with a free extra Mem card.

Easy to use controls, with auto focus and simple buttons. If your an amature this is the camera for you.

Came in a Maroon colour and It was so small it will fit in the palm of your hand. Took a few high quality pics and used the memory card to develop the pics at a Digital Kiosk.

Can't fault it, except for the limited Zoom capability and Night blurriness at zoom.
