General Comments

I applied for a Northern Rock Personal loan and the online application was easy and quick. Then after not hearing anything for a couple of days I contacted Northern Rock to be told that everything was fine but that I would have to fax proof of residence to them. I duly did so only to call back two days later to discover that they had lost my fax. So I faxed them again and contacted them a few hours later to find out that they could not find the fax. It took four attempts before they found my paperwork only for them to deny the application. 8 days of effort wasted. They could have denied the application at the start of the process.
