General Comments

SK-II Facial Treatment Mask - This is a product that I will not miss every week. The product comes in a box of six packs, and it's intended to be used weekly. It's a Japanese brand and made in Japan, hence the quality is undoubted. It's reported that celebs use this brand and it's creating a near-cult in Asia.

The mask is drenched with 30 ml of Pitera, a substance that renews the skin's cells. Our skin cells are supposed to renew themselves every 28 days, but because we now live in polluted environment, our skin ages faster than it should. Pitera is claimed to renew the cycle faster.

The mask is face-shaped, and must be left on the face for at least 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, I'd wash my face and immediately look into the mirror. The result is the radiance that I've always wanted and yet never find in other skincare products until I found SK-II.

It's recommended to use this product everyday for 14 days to prepare your skin for a big day (such as engagement or wedding). I don't think there's any negative points for this product, it's PERFECT, except for its price. A box costs A$132 and so each is about A$22, but every dollar is worth it. You have to try this out, and if you do, please DON'T KEEP IT BACK IN THE POUCH for next week's use, just because there are still some Pitera substance in it (I've read some reviews where people do it!). It's not hygienic and I don't think it's going to be effective.

What you can do to make every cent worth it, is to ensure that after you put the mask on, try to take out as many as possible of Pitera left in the pouch and smooth it on the mask. Believe me, your face would've drank up this substance by the end of 15 minutes.
