Good Points

Cost effective NV, can be easily removed for day time shooting, light weight, good clarity.

Bad Points

Batteries are not standard types / expensive, ie 2x LR1 for unit, then 1x CR123A for Illuminator

General Comments

Hebridean Tech House (Soviet Bazaar) is basically a NV Monocular with an adapter to allow it to fit on to the eye piece of your existing scope, you maintain the scopes original mag and reticule for aiming, I must admit the overall performance is good, (Rabbits eyes shine like emeralds when viewed through this, under the Infra Red Illuminator), its Gen 1 so it can get a little fuzzy, the rubber eye piece, has a tendency of moving as it is quite loose, (you focus with the eye piece) especially when you carry the gun in the crook of your arm. I think I managed about three night sessions with the first set of batteries, the new set cost about £9 from high street retailers, pity it doesn't take AA or AAA types, as they can be a lot cheaper and even rechargeable. Over all I am glad that I got NV, and think this is possibly the best / cost effective step up in to this technology.
