This is such a touching story, it can really teach you a lot and open your eyes to the suffering that happens in our world.

Not really suitable for younger readers and it gets extremely upsetting at points, but if you can, try and stick with it even though it is upsetting, it's well worth it in the end.

I have never been so affected by any piece of writing as I have with Dave Pelzer's A Child Called It. I was sobbing through most of the book and I was made to feel physically sick at parts of the book. It is very upsetting yet heart warming at the same time. I feel so much for Dave, and he has done so well to come through this.
