General Comments

This story brought tears to my eyes as I read about Adeline, a girl who was severely mistreated and hated by her family as a young child. It's truly touching to read about her life as she grows up and discovers that she is a person, not a piece of dirt that her family made her believe that she was. But the best thing is that you see how far she has come, she had an awful childhood, yet she did so well at school, wrote two books, and is now a succesful writer. It is people like this that are truly inspiring.
