2002 Honda Odyssey EX People Carrier.
Was treated badly by the dealer. First the fleet manager refused to give me the 2nd remote, she said she'll mail it to me, which arrived 3-4 weeks later (unprogrammed). Had to spend time driving to another dealer to get it programmed.
2nd, was overcharged for the dealer options. was shown an EX with installed options. Later I found it was $600 over retail, consider they already made a profit on the retail price. The fleet manager did give me a $500 discount after I complained to the General Manager.
3rd, too many component failures. The brake fluid reservoir sensor died in the 1st month. Symptom was a steady brake light. Alternator faulty, symptom was that the dashboard indicator light would come on intermittently, while driving. Rear brake clunk, which neither dealer nor Honda would admit, until I showed the dealer the TSB. Too many recalls, there're 2 for this model and too many TSBs, if you check the NHTSA site (http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov), there're over 153 of them.
4th, too noisy, noise from exterior too much when compared to a Toyota, got one recently. Not enough sound proofing or just poor design.
5th, not fuel efficient. should have known this for a minivan, but it's roomy and seats are comfortable.
Better off buying a toyota sienna!
