General Comments

Well I wanted the Daisy 622x as a gun to get back into shooting but could not find one so I got the Walther cp99, I really didn't care for it much then I got an Anics A3000 skif, I sent that back the next day. finally I found a new Daisy 622x and ordered it, when it got here I wasn't that impressed with the looks of it, it was OK but did not compare to the Walther. Any way I loaded it up and took a shot wow it felt good and sounded nice, in the last two days I shot about 60 rounds on the same co2 not one mis fire or no other problems. As far as accuracy it's only as good as you are, the fixed sites are right on, I got a grouping of 2 inch's and I have not been into this for over 25 years. I was really impressed with the trigger compared to the other two guns I tried it was smooth and easy, cocking is very easy also loading pellets and co2 are a breeze. On the bad side it is purely preference, the co2 screw on the bottom of the grip is ugly but I think I can do something with that, the truglow looks cheesy but it works. when compared to the other two it ranks #1 for me and its 1/2-1/3 the price and the big plus is its .22 cal! the only reason I rate i.e. as a 9 is because of the ugly screw.

I've left this with another review. If anyone knows where I can find one of these I'd be very grateful. For some reason (probably because the big box stores are narrowing what they carry so much) Daisy has discontinued this well respected air pistol. Thanks

thepaladin if you want one, I would sell mine as I don't use it, I shot it maybe 20 times it has 3 clips and 5 more NEB. if interested email me at fi57vett@gmail.com. I can send pictures if you wish. Fred
