Good Points

Now below £200, this stylish recorder has the feature of i-link or dv in/out which pioneer's replacement does NOT have as standard anymore - for this you have to fork out an extra £100 for the dvr320 . - Very dissapointing for new dvr220 which is a big loss for camcorder users.

Stocks of the DVR-3100 fast becoming hard to find.

General Comments

The Pioneer DVR-3100 is now below £200, this stylish recorder has the feature of i-link or dv in/out.

BEWARE - Pioneer's replacement DVR220 does NOT have DV in/out i-link as standard - for this you have to fork out an extra £100 for the dvr320.

DVR-3100 is great for camcorder use as the dv in/out i-link means easy transfer and archiving of camcorder footage is a breeze.

Stocks of the DVR-3100 fast becoming hard to find at this price.
