Good Points

So it's time for DreamWorks to venture on a bold second outing with their family favourite 'Shrek' and I have to say it didn't do to badly. All of the pop culture references were quite amusing, leading me to believe that this will sell out of super markets come release of the DVD. Overall, good, witty and, as we've come to expect, an all-star cast!

Bad Points

The film was great but like all things it had its minor flaws. There are only two things I can find wrong with this movie: 1. Echoing - Some lines/jokes from the first movie were used/added on to to add a sense of nostalgia to the whole 'Shrek' adventure. This is something I am not particularly fond of.
2: Shrek becoming human - I think they should have left this out till the final fourth chapter of the Shrek quadrilogy as it didn't terribly fit in with the flow of the movie.

General Comments

Shrek 2 - Another cracker from DreamWorks/PDI (or PDI/DreamWorks whatever you fancy.) Shrek 2 is a fantastically colourful array of wit, characters and overall good fun. Whether it's a giant gingerbreadman or a bush shaped liked Shirley Bassey, Shrek 2 piles on the laughs!! A must for fans of the first movie. Can't wait for the DVD!!
