General Comments
I have been an owner of a Mitsubishi Shogun 2.8TDI 7 seater 4x4 for over 2 years during which time I have clocked up nearly 80,000 miles. The clock is now at 113,000 and I have just had to replace the exhaust system at a cost of £300. My local mechanic (not dealer) puts in a service every 12 -14000 miles and this seems to do the trick.

I use the car largely for motorway driving and find that the size of the vehicle offers a high degree of safety whilst the engine throbs at a steady 90mph.

The 7 seats offer flexibility (I have 3 kids and they have mates) but the cabin looks a little dated.

I have owned a 2.8 tdi now for 18 months, it has got 93000 miles on the clock and it is now on its 3rd engine it has spent the last 9 months in a garage waiting repair but not cost me much in diesel and think it is a great 4x4.
