General Comments

The BBC Education website(s) are very informative and have helped me a lot when I have needed to revise for my GCSE exams. I must admit that they are not the best website around on the net for revising, however they do come in helpful to revise the main points needed for each subject.

The BBC has many different subjects to choose ranging from I.C.T to Relegious Education. Each subject has different sections to choose from to explain different parts of the subject. For example with the GCSE I.C.T page there are many different sections such as 'Databases', 'Data Communications' and 'Implications Of I.C.T'. I particularly like the way that the BBC has laid out its website as each section also comes with a glossary, exam tips and also exam practice - a good bonus! Furthermore, the BBC website even has a 'revision checklist' so that you can keep track on the revision that you have done - you can even print it off!

The BBC learning websites consist of many different areas such as the 'S.A.T's Bitesize' area, 'GCSE Bitesize' area and so forth. Even though they all cover different content, they all have one thing in common - the 'SOS Teacher'. This is where you can ask a teacher for advice and/or help with anything that you need ranging from homework help to exam advice. I have used this service (as its free) and I have really found it helpful. The teachers that the BBC use are professional and do not necessarily give you the 'answer'. They enable you to think on the 'right-tracks' so that you can solve the problem yourself - which I find really useful!

All in all the BBC websites for education are a good and useful tool to have, so now you have read my review try them out for yourself!
