Good Points

1. Excellent print quality
2. 6 seperate ink cartridges
3. Built in Memory reader
4. Scans documents as well as negative & positive films
5. USB connection to connect direct to digital printer/memory stick
6. Display to view before printing


Bad Points

1. Expensive ink cartridges
2. Bluetooth only available for printing


General Comments

I bought the Epson RX-600 to replace a CX5400 and am impressed with the print quality and the range of functions/utilities it came with.

    I am replacing RX600 for the 2nd time in 6 mos. The print screen keeps going out. Epson refused a refund but at this point are honoring the warranty. They offered no solution to after the warranty.

    I purchased a RX600 printer in June of 2004. I have had nothing but problems since the purchase. To begin with the Epson sales Rep. was in Best Buy the day I made the purchase. I was undecided between HP (which I have had excellent results with) or the Epson which was shown to me by the Epson Rep. The Rep. stated there was a rebate with the printer. He gave me the rebate forms to send in. When sent in there was no rebate. Called Epson, they sent certificates to purchase something from the Epson store. Purchased Ink for the printer, in which I never received. I purchased Ink cartridges and installed them. Turned the printer back on and it would not come on DEAD! Called once again, they finally agreed to ship a new printer the next day, but needed my credit card number to ensure that I would be shipping the other printer back. I asked the customer service gentlemen, if he was sure that there would be no charges to this card and he reassured me that there would not be. I checked my bank account and they had charged the card $269.99. I called customer service right away only to find that the customer service would say that they had not charged my card. But I was looking at my account and could clearly see they had. Today is the fouth day, and I have not received the NEXT DAY printer yet.

    I will not advise ANYONE to purchase from Epson. Their RX600 has real problems. As well as their so called CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    Read comments from jshealy and Karens1 and only say that I have had the printer for 10 months and during that time it has performed exceptionally well with no problems at all.
