General Comments

Nokia 7610 is fantastic! Don't under-estimate the keypay design - it is very clever and works well. But apart from that, Nokia have bundled everything good into this little beauty.

With Bluetooth and Infrared, as well as supplied USB cable, it is easy to connect to other devices and PCs. Synchronisation with Outlook works very well. I simply imported all the contacts I had previously sync'd with my Sony Ericsson T610. Worked like a charm first time - it even brought across other TO-DO items in Outlook that I had forgotten about.

The camera is very powerful. With 1Mpx the images apear sharp and clear on a PC with resolution up to 1152 x 864. Finally I can use the camera as more than a gimic - but now as a serious substitute for a digital camera. Movement with the camera is smooth and zooming is fast.

The screen - well what can you say? It's HUGE!! And even though it's 65k colours are far less than the Sharp GX-30's 256k, I wouldn't notice the difference. It's like watching a clear TV.

But a key feature is the multimedia card (RS-MMC). Admittedly, the reduced size card is not as popular in the market yet, and I must now go buy storage in a different format. But I'm pleased to be able to dump stacks of photos onto the card - instead of hitting a limit after 6 shots.

Apart from that, it's another well designed product from Nokia. It is fully customisable - from the case, to the themes, to the left and right short-cut keys and more!

All in all, a good phone. I'm happy to have chosen it over the Nokia 6230 or the Sharp GX-30.
