Bad Points

I have had a SEAT IBIZA cool for just under four years i.e just out of the three year warranty. I have just had to pay over £700.00 to keep it on the road mainly due to the fact that the front exhaust pipe had a leak. SEAT's design means that replacing the front exhaust pipe includes replacing the catalytic converter - a part which costs almost £400.00. The expected life of the exhaust system is 3/4 years so be aware that you will have this expense on a regular basis.The front pipe and the catalytic converter is one unit and so the life of the catalytic converter is reduced to the same short lifespan as the front exhaust pipe.


General Comments

This Seat Ibiza 1.4 S 16V family car may not be the bargain it first appears to be.
