Good Points

This camera is very light compared to other digital V camera of its same year. The DV in and out and the USB linkup is a great deal for its price range.


Bad Points

Snow will really affect it even if it does not touch the camera. Cannot be taken to snowy places.....I think.


General Comments

I bought my DS65 on December 2003. Right after I bought it we went for a trek. It was snowing but the camera performed well. After We got back to the city it kept giving me the condensation error sign on the screen and kept shutting itself off after about 45 to 51 secs. I got it fixed but at a price. So be careful not to take it to snowy places even if it is not snowing. The pictures taken by it is also not so good. Only 0.8 mp. I'd always take a use and throw film camera wherever I took the DS65.

The best point about the camera is its many functions that are available compared to other cameras of the same price. Every aspect of the camera is user friendly. You can even edit your movies on your home PC.

I have never used a Camera of this price that is as good.
