Good Points

A creative original innovative album that was first conceived in 1967, and is equal to the best works from that year.

Bad Points

It's a shame that it wasn't completed in 1967. That's the only bad thing I can say. I wonder what might have happened if it was released back then.

General Comments

Brian Wilson, Smile - If you like music, really really like music. If you like all kinds of music, and can say that music is one of your main interests in life. If you miss the feeling that listening to an excellent album gave you when you were younger and everything seemed new and exciting:
THIS IS THE ONE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. This is the album for people who love music and think good music is one of the most important things we have.

It's full of color and imagination, it's a trip back in time to an alternate universe, where rock n' roll can be complex yet childish, psychedelic yet pleasant, brilliant yet goofy, retro yet futuristic, man I could keep this going for hours but the main thing is this:
This is a celebration of the glory of music. Come and participate!
