General Comments

I have bought my BSA super star second hand from Allcocks gun shop in Worcestershire, it cost me 129.00 GBP which I think for a gun of this quality and power is reasonable.
I had been looking at a Cometa 300, but on trying out the BSA there wasn't any comparison. I have only tried about a dozen pellets through it yet so can't really speak of accuracy, and anyway I have still to fit a scope. I fired from about 10 yards at a floor board and it went straight through and also through the wooden shed behind it. The gun oozes quality and is a joy to shoot. I will review it again after I have tried it out in the field.
