Good Points

Dependable. Easy to cock. Cheap to buy. Low maintenance. Good power. Can be accurate if held right.

Bad Points

No scope rail. Hold sensitive.Under 500 fps in Canada.

General Comments

I got my Crosman 795 at Canadian Tire for $99.86 Canadian in November 2001. So far I shot it over 3000 times with no problem at all. With this rifle if I hold it right offhand standing; I can shot within 1/2 inch circle at 10 meters/33' all the time.

Hey Rene, this is Alan T from the SS Forum.
    I agree with your review.
The 795 I bought from Wally World (about a month ago) came with scope rails! :-)

So I quickly bought the 4x32mm Crosman scope and I can now make 1/2" groups at 20 - 25 yards!

Pretty good for such a hold - sensitive gun, right?

it is a horrible rifle and the rear sight scrapes the side of the stock

How did you manage to do that? You must have either: 1. Got a faulty gun, or... 2. Seriously messed yours up.

It says right on the box for the Crosman 4X32 scope "Not recommended for use on Crosman 795 spring air rifle". I think that would have deterred me from putting it on there.
