Good Points

All staff excellent, the pool was very clean, There were plenty of free beds. The food was excellent with a good choice and variety, (too many sweets to get through in 2 weeks). Rooms were clean and adequate, The reps were very good and spoke English. The entertainment was good and the local bars were ok, and cheaper than Hotel.


Bad Points

Some of the entertainment would not suit all.


General Comments

We have been to Picafort Park twice in August but want a change of season this year(2005) so May/June is the time we booked. August is no problem at all.
The rooms are big enough for a 2 week stay and have the best air-con. we have ever had.
The staff remembered us from last visit and we met holidaymakers who also remembered quite a few visitors.
Nothing was too much trouble for staff and Thomson reps. The resort is quiet enough but not to be confused with lifeless. Safe walking about at night. Good bus service and local transport very good. Bars that are near to the hotel are busy and the food is generally excellent (Try Casa Padri for good lunch with warm welcome.)
The Hotel is Thomson Gold so cannot accept bookings for under 16 years old. Average age group 50 but there were still younger people who enjoyed their stay.
The restaurant is very good (9/10)and the seating is your choice not the staff. Food is well prepared and presented by a keen to please staff.
Overall score for the holiday is 9/10.
