General Comments

The Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia People Carriers reliability is rubbish, I've had more niggly faults with this vehicle that any other I have owned.
Air bag light kept coming on, new sensor fitted and problem now reoccuring. Told its a common problem (the VW Sharron and Seat Alabamha have the same problem). Sensor wiring goes on steering column after approx 50,000 miles, quoted 500.00 to repair! Cheaper to just stick black tape over the warning light. Headlight and brake bulbs blow reguluar as clockwork and fuel consumption is rubbish (20 round town/30 on motorway) My old Merc F reg was more reliable, cheaper to run and better to drive. Take the advice of a Road Safety Officer and don't even think of buying a Galaxy unless you have a bottomless pit of money.

I've got a 2.8 ghia 2001 and have the same problem with warning lights that come on then go off without leaving any trace in the diagnostic module. Helpful Ford Agent suggested a new replacement engine at a cost of £5K.

    Last Ford I ever buy...

    Absolute Rubbish!
