General Comments

Kazaa is a great program for downloading music films etc for the web. This is mainly because it's free and seems to have more stuff than anywhere else. If you're looking for rare B sides, Live performances or Bootlegs look no further. Unfortunately such behaviour appears to more than bend copyright laws, I not been charged and I think their current plan is to target the people that upload not download. I should point out that a lot of stuff is on their with artists permission and you can download that happily. The only real failing of Kazaa in my experience was the annoying pop ups which I could never get rid of even after deleting. I have a theory that program may also have increased the decline of my old PC but that might be me downloading things off people I don't know. Either way I'd recommend it.

I found it very good for many things but when you download them they almost all have a virus warning over the contents, and a lot of 'programes do NOT work.' Beware of this, and the "attempted back door trojans too."

I have had the worst time trying to find live performances and bootlegs. In fact, if an artist has released anything recently that's all that you can find! I shouldn't complain too much though, I did find a couple of out-of-print b-sides I've been looking for for YEARS.

    hi; KAZAA'
A friend of mine has just removed this permanently, he had the full Norton Antivirus/Internet Sec/and firewalls, but he was infiltrated by spyware and attempted trojans ALL the time, took a lot of 'cleaning after', good job I had a cyberscrub (WELL recomemnd that product); NOT ever KAZAA.
