Good Points

If its D-Restricted and has a good sports exhaust it will fly. Ive had mine past 67mph on a 50cc with the wind behind me. Looks different but it definately catches people's attention. It has good looking wheels and a good speed dial. If you crash the moped you've got side dampers to protect the body work from cracking which will cost a bomb to fix. When I first bought the moped it went 30miles to the tank. Got it derestricted and added a sports exhaust and it now does 60miles to the tank.

Bad Points

If you manage to crash your Metal X your certain to loose ur indicators. Electric start in the mornings is naf. If you buy a brand new Metal X that isn't de-restricted or that has the speedfight 2 exhaust as standard it will drink petrol very fast.

General Comments

The Peugeot Metal X is a very very good Scooter. If you ask me the Peugoet TKR Metal X is better than the new Speedfight 2 mopeds and i've owned both mopeds. The Speedfight is more reliable, but the Metal X is better value for the money and is a lot faster by far.

I want to buy new Metal-X, and your comment really helped me to choose between TKR and SF2. Tnx A LOT!!!

i have owned a metal x for 3 years and covered 44000 kms. they said in the garage that after 20000 it would die like so many others would but with a service every 7500 kms it goes on and on, oh and bout the fuel consumption 30 on the £4.20 that it takes would work out to 35 mpg thats nonsence. mine sees the good side of 80mpg and as for fitting sports exhausts expect unreliability i did this when i first had mine but and i had all manner of probs, took it all off again and sorted 44000kms of happy pedding. ps recommend lighter rollers though, mattyboy.
