General Comments

What can I say about Little Britain that hasn't already been said? It's easily the funniest thing on TV at the moment. The creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, are comic geniuses who make dressing up like women into a feast of hilarity. It's narrated very cleverly by Tom Baker with tongue-in-cheek commentary about the strange backwardness of the alternate version of Britain created by Lucas and Walliams. The recurring characters are brilliantly developed, particularly the lazy man in the wheelchair, Vicky Pollard the fast-talking deliquent, and the very very bad transvestite.

The new series looks set to be even better than the last one. We cheered the two ladies tasting jam and were pleased to see Tony Head back again as the Prime Minister subject to the affections of his rather flamboyant assistant.

If you like off-kilter and rather offbeat humour and don't mind rude jokes then you must watch this program.
