Good Points

The final output definition was of very high quality. The camera is also easy to use.


Bad Points

The manual is very basic and not as helpful as it could be.


General Comments

For a great all round, better than average, DV camcorder, the GR-DV700 is without equal. At the entry to the broadcast quality sector it is the most user friendly camera you could wish to use, and light in weight. The resolution of the downloaded image is of a higher quality than I had ever expected. From the frozen peaks of Switzerland to the damp mists of the English Moors, the GR-DV700 has been a very pleasant suprise, and a hard act to follow.
