General Comments

The Nokia 3200 is a very good phone but with drawbacks due to Nokia's 'youth style' phones. Basically, these are phones that have all the features but they are stripped down. For example the phone has a camera & a colour screen but the camera has a max resolution of 352x288 and the screen has just 4096 colours and 128x128 screen pixels.
On a more positive note, the phone is packed with features including an FM radio. It has good reception but has failures picking up local radio stations. You also have to plug the handsfree kit in to listen but this is not such a big deal because it comes free with the phone.
The ringtones are also good quality but by far the best feature of the phone are the cut-out covers. Basically you get a cutter that cut out stencils that you can colour in or you can just cut an image straight out of a magazine. You then just slip it in underneath the clear plastic cover. Unfortunately, it is plastic and so even the smallest touch from a coin could scratch it and if you constantly remove the cover the handset starts to rattle inside.
The handset, in my opinion doesn't have enough memory at just 1mb, but this is probably due to Nokia's 'youth style' phones. Another mb or two would be ideal. The buttons are also a problem with there being 6 oval keys with 2 numbers on each key rather than the conventional twelve. To operate the keys you must either press the top or bottom half of the key. It is very easy to get used to though and I haven't made many wrong typings. The buttons are silicon covered, not rubbered so they are very easy to press and the numbers won't wear off.
All in all this is a great phone that is made good by nokias youth bias.
