Massive expansion when fired from appropriate air rifle. Great accuracy. Satisfying "thwack" when it hits.
Requires high powered air rifle. Not always stocked.
Beeman Crow Magnum Pellet .25 is a great pellet as launched from my Beeman Kodiak. Very accurate and hard hitting. Its faults are a function of its caliber. Needs a high powered air rifle to do justice to the "expansion cup", relatively difficult to locate sometimes, and relatively expensive (versus any of the more common .177 and .22 fodder). These are all relatively minor points if you have already decided to go with a .25 caliber air rifle.
One interesting point of this pellet and the heavy Beeman Kodiak is what they do to the common steel "cone" traps - expect heavy dents in the steel everyplace that they hit.
Given its relatively heavy weight and perceived launch velocity in this caliber, the Crow Magnum does not have a laser-like trajectory. However, if the shooter does his/her job, the terminal effect is quite satisfying. The auditory satisfaction of the hollow cup hitting any appropriate surface alone is worth the price of a tin.
