Good Points

This digital has an excellent range of up to date features, it's very easy to use, std nicads, looks good and is well priced

Bad Points

unfortunatly it does not have a built in lenes cap but the lense does retract well into the camera body. The auto focus is often far from exceptable-this seems to be a common kodak problem. When set to distance the quality was excelent proving that the camera can do it.

General Comments

This digital is excellent in every way except picture quality in auto - and this is the way most will use it! If you have not tried other cameras you may not notice the lack of sharpness. I sent my Kodak back for a refund. Maybe the 4mpix ls443 is better... read some reviews

I believe you may have a defective Kodak DX4330 Digital Camera. I get great sharp pictures all around even within 1 ft with very good color matching. I have even took some shots within 10 inches with flash and got great shots no white outs, to landscape mode. The LCD screen is a nice feature as well, it does work much better in high light areas, but has some wash out which is to be expected to some point. But still a very needed improvement from the past. This is NOT my first digital camera I have had many thoughout the years. For the picture quality and the features of this camera I believe it is worth the money.

I THOUGHT THE PICTURE WAS TOP QUALITY, BEST I HAVE SEEN IN THIS PRICE RANGE. BUILD QUALITY IS A LITTLE IFFY FOR MY LIKING BUT OTHER THAN THAT I THINK ITS A GOOD ALL ROUND CAMERA

I find the picture quality is great on this camera. Also, it does come with a lens cap (and the strap that has a very convinient attachment location on the left side of the camera to keep the lens cap attached to the camera but out of the way while taking pictures). This camera works very well in a wide range of circumstances. I have taken beautiful landscape pictures of vermont mountains, without loss of far away detail. I've also been able to use this camera as a scanner, it focuses on text sharply, to the point where I can take a picture of an 8x11 document and view it on my computer as if I had used a scanner... I'm very pleased, and recommend the 4330.
