Very comfortable car with every conceivable extra
Poor reliability - 11 weeks in garage in a year. Replacement sensors, electronic modules, steering column, steering rack and worst of all a replacement engine after only 15,000 miles. A lemon!
The BMW 7 Series 745i (E65) is potentially an outstandig car, but this executive car has been over-engineered. It adds complexity when simplicity would have worked better. Poor reliability and technicians only capable of exchanging units have not helped. Overall a real disappointment compounded by 50% depreciation in 18 months.
