Excellent drive. Very stable. Very good for towing a caravan. Superb differing configurations of seats for load lugging or the whole family and grandchildren. Diesel does 31 to 33 on a long run.
Niggling ticking in engine which Volvo says is normal. Only fair turning circle.
Overall the Volvo XC90 SUV is an excellent product. Far, far better product than the Mercedes 270 CDI ML which I had before.
