Bad Points

Very inaccurate, totaly ineffective.

General Comments

I bought the Gamo 4X32 Air Rifle scope & rings with the Silver shadow as a set thinking it would go well with the Gamo rifle. Bad choice. $20.00 at academy seemed like a good idea. . wrong! This scope made me think that my new gun was not a good one. I decided to try to open sights and took it off. OH MY GOD did this thing should great with open sights. The gun was NOT the problem but the scope. It was properly mounted as I have done this many times for many years. Bad scope - stay away.

steves.....I would think such a cheap scope would not stand the bashing from a high-powered? springer like yours. Cross-hairs, adjusters and lenses have been known to swiftly go AWOL on scopes not specifically designed for the vicious back-and-fore recoil on the higher powered guns.

From experience, I'm sure your Gamo scope would be fine on pneumatics, PCPs and LOW powered springers.

Good and safe shooting with your Gamo. Yes I read the review.........Bertie.

New to the air gun game I'm learning that the springers have a special type of recoil. This was a valuable lesson for me. I still want to shoot with a scope, and I'm not yet ready to spend as much or more on a scope than the gun cost, so I tried several. I was able to get accuracy from a BSA 4X32 scope in the $30.00 range to my surprise. It may not last, but it will be another lesson if not. I am also considdering putting a better mounting device in the gun to help. Thanks for the comment.

Get a Bushnell air rifle scope and b-square one piece mount spinger air rifles don’t like 2 piece mounts.
