Good Points
Simple, easy to follow if you have a hangover
Bad Points
The incessant whinging, all that blonde hair can be painful to watch if you have a hangover
General Comments
Hollyoaks is perfect Sunday morning television when you've had a big Saturday night and wake up with a hangover and just need to flop in front of the TV with a large cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich and NOT THINK. It's set in Chester and centres around a local college and is full of youngsters - mainly mid-teens to mid-twenties. The vast majority of characters look like models and have blonde hair, making it impossible to distinguish one character from another, but the plots are so cliched and simple to follow that it really doesn't matter. Mainly people start relationships, they split up, they cheat, they fight and well, occasionally someone dies, usually by violence. It's trash TV of the highest magnitude, but sometimes that's the best kind.

I agree with this review because... it is absolutely dross but that's why people like it. Brainless telly, perfect for a Sunday.
