Tyre wear
I've had my Nissan Almera GTi for 1.5 years and it still gives me a buzz when I get in.
Its great fun on the open road, has really good handling and is powerful enough to show up much more expensive and glamorous cars.
If driven hard (which is irresistable) the petrol consumption is high. Other reviewers have said 18K for tyres, I got 23K on one set but they came off looking like slicks (failed MOT on tyres). 140+bhp through the front tyres does work them hard.
Image is its only downfall, most people don't know what it is, more fool them.
9k Service intervals, no faults so far apart from slight problem with key fob, easily fixed and back to normal now.
