Good Points

Good sound, playback, plays almost anything.


Bad Points

Sound setup can be tricky.


General Comments

I bought a Panasonic SC-HT900 to replace a Grundig system which was good for movies and had surprisingly good sound. I am very pleased with it, my previous system had trouble playing original CD's, this will play just about anything which is one strength. another strength is the 5 disk platten which means you can fill it with disks and let it play all afternoon. Now, I haven't tried it, but I'll bet you could put 5 DVD-R's full of MP3's into it and it would play solidly for about a week. This brings me to its weakness, the sound. It's good but not as good as I expected. This may be because I haven't dedicated the time to learning about the different modes available. Like I said, it is good but I tend to find it heavy on the centre channel instead of really filling the room. Overall I think it's very good.
