Good Points

Small, easy to operate. Loud ring and alerts and cheap, £45 locally.


Bad Points

Screen easily marked by keypad when closed. Spring hinge on cover broke after 5 months.


General Comments

The Sendo M550 is an excellent mobile for the younger operator as it will withstand a fair amount of punishment. No camera, so just a basic all round phone that is easy to learn and operate. Operating screen is bright and clear but the external screen on the lid is a bit dull and difficult to see in bright light, waste of time. The cover lid screen has been marked by the centre four keys but if caught early a small rubber pad to keep the spacing correct cures this. After much misuse the spring that returns the cover lid failed and it now hangs limp. Managed to source a water damaged phone for £5 and replaced the spring at home!!
My 13 year old has scraped it beyond recognition but it still works so it is sturdy. Reception in my area (Virgin) is pathetic but other sim cards work OK.

I have bought myself another and will keep it CLEAN.
