The double leather on the shoe holds up. Triple stitched. Protects laces pretty good. Super comfy. Sole gets better the longer you have them (seems to grip board better now then when I first got them). Air cushion on the heel is always a plus for those hard landings. Pretty light for the size of the shoe.
My Toe Cap fell off on my kickin foot! But everything else is cool.
I got the Lakai Howard 2's at a sale in the local shop for fifty five smacks. I thought they were pretty good looking kicks. So I bought them in July and it's now October and they still got some spunk left in them. But I am about to trade up for the Howard tres because I liked these shoes so much so I though to myself just go get the newer ones.
