Works OK.
Very basic menu system, no info on VCR display it just shows the time and not much else, it doesn't show rew, ff etc and has very small indicators for rec.
You can't get any more cheap and basic than this 6 head VCR. Buy some thing other than Hitachi VT-FX440E.
