Good Points

Volume is good but tone is awful...is everyone staring at me?


Bad Points

Buttons are cheap feeling, the display faces away from you, the mount for the windshield is cumbersome and could be easier to mount, the mount is plastic and is easily broken, and the coiled power cord is plugged in to the unit and the cig. power device (too many prices).


General Comments

Ease of use and ergonomics aren't there, the Beltronics 935 Express needs a more solid design. I will get back to you on the signal review, but from what I have seen so far my wifes Escort 7500 works better than this. I prefer Escorts styling and ergonomics, the Escorts seem to be better overall. (I have "rented" many units, Escort 7500 & 8500, Cobra, Whistler, Rocky Mountain, etc.
By far I love the 8500 from Escort and haven't had the chance to get and test a Valentine.
