James Patterson, The Lake House - I haven't read When the Wind Blows but soon started to enjoy this and thought the story was coming together nicely. However, it soon deteriorated and became just silly. Not enought detail and everyone got out of each of the situations far too easily. Even the death of one of the main characters was skimmed over. I felt the author was trying to get to the end as quickly as possible.
