Tone, tone and more tone. From Fender clean to Marshall crunch to rectified, molten metal.
The weight is a killer. Could be improved by adding midi-switching without using external units.
Mesa Boogie Mark IV - Just buy one! This is the best amp in the world, period. Ofcially 85 watts, but it sound more like 200 and Mesa know it. It has a 200watt EV driver in it. Heard the old models, pre-'95, had problems with overheating and noisy fans. Not so the new one.
Never had so many compliments on my sound as when using this three channel amp. Try to avoid the tendancy to use graphic all the time so you can kick it in for a mega boost.
I understand the same circuit as the triaxis preamp but with no midi capbility.
