Well made 1911 comfortable and accurate to shoot. With near custom feature at a very reasonable price considering what custom 1911 use to cost.
Though it looks like a custom pistol it not. But it is a very well made mass produced semi-custom 1911.
The Kimber Classic is one of the best 1911 pistol made to day. You pick it up and you feel the quality, you operate the slide and you can feel how smooth and tight it. The features are too many mention but all these details that use to only come on custom 1911 are on the Kimber Classic. After its successful introduction other companies started making their 1911s with like features. No longer did you have to buy a $400 gun and put $400-$1000 in it to make it comfortable and accurate to shoot well and often.
Kimber is definitely one of the bargains out here even though they have gone up and price.
