Good Points

Surround Sound Output, Multi-Regional, Extemely cheap, Many functions, MP3/DVD/CD Playback, Smart design.


Bad Points

Diabolical remote sensor, thats about it.


General Comments

I bought this Acoustic Solutions DVD player from the Chester branch of Richer Sounds about a month ago. Since, I have watched about 5 DVDs numerous times and they all play supremely. The remote does not pick up unless you point it straight at the sensor, but that is only minor. The ability to play MP3, SVCD, CDR/W, DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW is great, and the 5.1 made me buy this DVD player. The same specification Sony was £80, and this one was £30. Great buy!
