Good Points

The sunloungers are locked at night so no fighting over best ones.
Pool is clean and area kept tidy.
Staff friendly, very helpful and efficient.
Apartment large and clean.

Bad Points

Pool a little small, as it is built as 3 separate ones.
Supermarket on site is very small, so only basics sold.
These are the only bad points I can think of. It is a good place.

General Comments

Late last year we went to Fuerteventura and stayed in Aparthotel Teguise Golf, which was OK, so not expecting too much. What a surprise, as the self-catering apartment was very clean and so much space. Just the 2 of us, but there were 2 large sofas, lots of room in the bedroom (twin beds pushed together), clean & large bathroom with soap and clean towels. Kitchen OK, with 2 electric rings, but no toaster or kettle. These can be hired from reception. Don't know how much - travel kettle!
Main part of the pool a little on the small size and is 1.35metres deep over whole length. It was never packed and you can get a decent swim. Next to this is a 1.4 metre deep 'plunge pool'. You can bob around in this, I guess? Third section is toddlers' paddling pool that is sloped, so ideal. Didn't see any lifeguards or lifesaving equipment. Sunloungers unlocked at 9ish, but if you want a parasol, you do need to go and get one as soon as they are put out or put up with roasting in the sun! Food from the pool bar is simple but freshly prepared and tasty. Usual stuff, like sandwiches (fried, not toasted!), burgers, chips baguettes, etc. Not too expensive, either. Staff friendly, and although I tried the language, I am not very good, so helped by their good grasp of English!
As a holiday is what you make of it, there is as much or as little to do as you want. On site the staff organise games during the day (archery, shooting, darts, pool, etc.) and there was evening entertainment for families. We wanted a nice, relaxing holiday, so chose not to join in with the games and, as we were self-catering, we chose to go out each evening for our meal.
Note that the resort is a fair distance from the town itself, but at only a 20 minute walk, this is ideal after a meal! Taxis are easy to get and at around 2-3 Euros per trip, it means generally, a nice quiet resort. There are supermarkets and a couple if restaurants within a 10 minute stroll, so a pretty good location for the price.
A good choice of restaurants in the town itself, without too much of a rush. Food good and freshly prepared. Even the steaks were good! Nice touch with the honey brandy when you get the bill! Usual array of electronics shops selling cut-price camera, etc. Don't be fooled by their promises of cheap goods. I checked the price of a particular camera on the Internet before leaving (£75, with memory card) and the shop's best price was £90 with card. I think the stuff is OK, but it is a long way to go to take it back. Also, they add money on if you pay with on plastic, so the bargain starts to disappear!
