Good Points
Great to drive, Loadsa power

Bad Points
Mystery loss of power when towing caravan. Poor quality / poor design front seats causing fraying of material

General Comments
Had my Volkswagen Golf 1.9 GT TDi 130 (Mk4) family car for just over 2 years with 25k miles. been back to the garage for a loss of power 4 times and its still not fixed. Had new boost valve and complete new turbo unit but it still occasionally drops power down to about 30-40 bhp usually when pulling hard like when overtaking a lorry or climbing a steep hill (great fun!) I think its got to be the ECU because the fault is cleared simply by turning the ignition off and restarting the engine.
