Reasonably price, good accuracy, 270fps, good rate of fire 720rps, smooth operation. Solid hits in CQB simulations. Nice practice rifle. Some nice accessories like factory silencer, cheek pad, butt pad.
Not many metal parts, doesn't break down like a real AR-15, not upgradable, uses small battery, not compatible with TM mags (big mistake). $19.00 each for additional mags.
The DPM A-15 is a nice practice rifle, in skirmishes with CAs, TM and ICS M16s clones in CQB there is no difference in performance, and a hit is a hit. It is as accurate as any of these weapons at 30-45 feet. And can hit a man size target at 75 feet.
Its not as nicely finished as the TMs,CAs or ICS nor does it have the detailed features. Its weigh is similar to the TMs M733 or XM171 which it clones. As mentioned you can only exchange mags with other (KWC makes it) A-15 players/soldiers. And these mag cost a lot more they are plastic instead of metal. There are no 34, 68 rounds mags just 300rds mags.
The difference in cost is mostly setup, the A-15 comes with battery and charger and thats $50-$75 pending brand. These A-15 cost $189.00. The standard price for a TM is $270, ICS $320, CA $350 battery and charger.
There is no doubt the other guns are better, they feel more closer to a real rifle and can be upgraded. But at a quick look and feel the DPM A-15 is a nice rifle. For a cheap, quick and dirty CQB rifle it will work.
