Problem with the sound on TV.

General Comments
I bought the Logik LCX27WN2 TV 5 weeks ago and from day one have had problems with sound.

It's distorted and a fault with this model and Currys have had to take it back as there is a known fault with this model.

Beware of this television!

I had exactly the same problem. I suggest you keep taking sets back until you get a good one (I had mine replaced three times, but the one I have now is OK).

The telly's fine enough and the PC monitor bit with the picture-in-picture feature is quite handy.
 
 I've just installed a Sky remote pickup but I can't find a code that works with this telly. It's not one of the 6 I've found on the Sky list. Any ideas?

I bought this TV only 3rd Nov 2005, probably ex-demo as no instructions and no remote controller, but wanted larger TV, LCD most practicle from getting into flat, and Currys had this for £349, on sale or return, in 24hrs sorted the manual controls, connected to Freeview & DVD/VCR by scart via splitter, and I have a brilliant TV ,DVD & Video player,I'm glad I did not spend twice the price as others were, and am very sorry to see these comments ,I hope it does not let me down,but an excellent start

I bought this tv around a year ago.....had problems with no sound from the right speaker (looking at tv).....but wasnt too bothered as i had a 5.1 set up.
 
 My problem is with the one and only scart connection.
 After upgrading my scart lead and scart splitter, i first found the picture (sky tv) had a pinkness to it, and with a little wiggle of the scart lead i lost the picture to a blury mess !! totally unwatchable , flashes of green, blue and red then a ghostly picture.....dvd played fine...ohh except everything was pink !!!
 
 .....must be the scart connection on the tv set ??????? or is there a bigger problem lurking inside ?????

I have the same model and run it as a PC monitor as well as a TV and found the sound distorted from my TV signal. However, this was very easily resolved (maybe someone should tell Dixons!) I hooked up my digital box to check and ... perfect 3-d, distortion free sound. I have since bought a second digital box (less than 50 quid) and we now watch our TV on this screen instead of the one in the lounge!
